Pocahontas Trail System
Most noted for..... one third of the largest continuous areas of the HMT network along with Pinnacle Creek and Indian Ridge trail systems and connectors. Pocahontas is also know for historic former millionaire town of Bramwell where it's trailhead is located. The Pocahontas trail system is the nearest HMT trail to the I-77 Turnpike and gateway to the southeast.

Trailhead:
The trailhead is located at 174 Simmons Ave. Bramwell, WV 24715 (lat N 37 19 40, long W 81 18 47). Plans are for renovations to begin on the trailhead facility sometime in 2014. The trailhead site currently has a 2+ acre parking lot and onsite portable restrooms. Permits can be purchased at the Bramwell City Hall or nearby businesses.

Located in the town of Ashland, WV, near Northfork, WV. (lat 37.41330, long -81.35263)
Has a 2+ acre parking lot and on site restrooms. This trailhead is NOT staffed. Permits and merchandise can be purchased at Ashland Resort which is directly connected to the system and is the nearest business to the trailhead.

Pinnacle Creek Trail System
Most noted for..... one third of the largest continuous areas of the HMT network along with Pocahontas and Indian Ridge trail systems and connectors. Pinnacle Creek is also know for it's scenery and proximity to Twin Falls State Park (15 miles) as well as skiing and whitewater rafting (within 1 hour).

WARRIOR TRAIL SYSTEM
The Warrior Trail System, which also connects with the Pinnacle Creek, Indian Ridge and Pocahontas trail systems, is located in the City of War which is West Virginia’s most southern city. This trail system also accesses the ATV-friendly City of Gary. The Warrior Trail System offers numerous scenic views and has direct access to gas, foods and lodging.
